Made in the classic French small-bore style, this flugelhorn has a light, compact tone that is perfect as a solo instrument, yet is versatile enough to blend in with larger-bore flugels. A player can easily blend with an ensemble, and still provide that little extra "cut" when his voice needs to rise above the rest. The bottom-sprung valves offer a light touch and lightning fast response. Intonation is superb, while the trigger on the third valve slide makes small intonation adjustments easy. Its relaxed, easy playability makes it a natural "double" for trumpet players.
This fine flugel features a no-nonsense traditional design with classic sound but with superb intonation. The Model 1025 "Chicago" is easy blowing, compact and light: perfect for solo- or section work.
